MOTHER'S DEPT OF CORRECTIONS

Painting of myself referencing my life experience growing up. This was for a gallery show titled "Your True Colors" with Nick Wilton (Art To Life) as juror. So honored to receive an award from such a prestigious juror. I literally carved out the days on the wood panel, which now sits above my computer to remind me daily that I survived! Keeping this one in case I ever write a life story and this will be on the cover...because I DID amount to something!
