ABOUT PAULA

I'm Paula Prass, an artist living just outside of Nashville TN.  Originally moved here in 1970 but after a few transfers with my husband's work we are finally back where we belong.  

 

For many years my career was in interior design; as well as owning my own line of home decor, licensing my designs for textiles, home  decor and stationary. I absolutely loved designing clients spaces, creating products for companies, receiving multiple awards and having my work published in several national magazines such as Architectural Digest, Better Homes & Gardens (including a front cover), Coastal Living,  Modern Bride and Domino to name a few.​ Ever so grateful for every opportunity given to me to express my creativity.

 

But there was always one thing I missed. My first love: PAINTING!  So in 2011, along with another move across the country, I chose to paint full-time and that's where I am right now.

 

These days my focus is on capturing the light; the glorious sunrise and dramatic sunset., the sun dancing across the water and the dappled light across a path. 

 

I love it all and my hope is that my artwork will resinate with you.  That my style and vibrancy will be a perfect match for you, your home, business or a perfect gift.​
